In recent years, ceramic design has become a significant tool for understanding design methods on the one hand, as well as an arena that allows personal expression for designers seeking to produce special series that contain formal and symbolic ideas on the other.

The design workshop at HIT - Holon Institute of Technology, allows for a material and conceptual discussion in the language of design, craft and art, while emphasizing the importance and understanding of material culture in general and ceramic in particular.

The discussion is conducted from the premise that material expression is a text that reflects in real time the values of the society in which we live.
